Dreams - Pregnancy Update #16

I've heard a woman who is pregnant can have crazy dreams, and so far I've had only one, but it was odd...

For some reason I scheduled my normal monthly prenatal exam at the gym about 40 mins before a group class was to begin. My doctor (who was completely different in the dream than in real life) was oriental, and about 8 months pregnant herself. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but she decided to give me a shot so that I'd go into labor one week early. This was odd since I'm not due until December. A class instructor, who is also pregnant in real life and due in December, came into the room and I told her about the shot and she wanted some of the shot, too. The doctor was trying to find another needle so the instructor could have the shot and then all of the sudden, the instructor was gone.

After that, I was concerned about this shot and the doctor gave it to me and said, now, I need you to nurse for the next 10 hours. I looked at the doctor and said, "What??? Nurse??? I don't have a baby, I don't have a breast pump!" The doctor said to me, you don't need a breast pump, you just need a coat hanger, I'll show you.

All of the sudden I'm back at my house (which of course is a little different in my dream than reality), with the doctor, who has to go soon, and we don't have any metal coat hangers at our house. (This is probably true, since I hate them and always use the plastic ones). So I was crying and freaking out that I wasn't going to be able to nurse for 10 hours because we didn't have a coat hanger and the doctor was packing up and getting ready to leave so she woudn't have time to show me how to nurse with a coat hanger...and that's all I recall.

I'm sure this is the classic "feeling of not being prepared" dream...

Hopefully tonight you dream the rest and you can tell us how in the world a coat hangar was going to help you nurse your baby.

I think the coat hanger part came from stories from Madame Varner...
